We serve the poorest of the poor

Tabitha’s Heart serves children and families in some of the poorest slums of Kolkata. Our goal is to empower them to transform their lives and realize a future filled with hope.

WE give children the gift of education

Education gives a child hope for the future and helps the whole family break the cycle of poverty. Our Child Sponsorship program allows children to attend school and receive after-school tutoring, a hot meal, and other support to ensure success.

We provide a safe and nurturing environment

Some in our Child Sponsorship program lack safe and nurturing home environments due to extreme poverty, abandonment, parental addictions, or abuse. Our Children’s Home provides the chance to attend school, along with 24/7 love and care!

We empower women with training and seed funding

We create paths out of extreme poverty by offering vocational training like sewing or auto-repair. We empower single mothers through basic business training and microenterprise seed funding to start their own business!
